We are looking for journalists to share Korea’s Beauty, Medical, Travel & Wellness with the world.
DERME KOREA is a global media outlet introducing Korea’s K-Beauty · K-Medi · K-Travel · K-Wellness to readers around the world.
We currently publish content online in 8 languages, and are expanding beyond digital magazines into print magazines, guides, and global content projects.
Rather than simply relaying information that is generating buzz,
DERME KOREA’s mission is to create content that readers can use in making real-world choices by reporting, verifying, and asking questions firsthand.
Position
DERME KOREA Content Journalist / Editor
Key Responsibilities
Reporting on K-Beauty, skincare, cosmetics, and beauty trends
Planning and reporting content related to K-Medi, medical beauty, and medical tourism
Creating content about K-Travel, hotels, regions, tourism, and travel in Korea
Reporting on K-Wellness, health, wellness, and lifestyle content
Interviewing individuals, experts, and brands
Identifying high-interest domestic and international trends and social media issues
Writing articles and fact-checking
Verifying information using experts, academic papers, and public institution materials
Planning digital content, including photos, videos, and short-form content
Identifying content topics with global readers in mind
We are looking for people who
Are highly interested in what people search for and wonder about
Can explain complex professional information in writing so that general readers can easily understand it
Enjoy the process of reporting and verifying information firsthand rather than simply writing press releases
Are interested in beauty, medicine, travel, and wellness
Have a strong understanding of online content and social media trends
Can quickly identify and plan new topics
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a journalist, editor, or in content marketing
Experience writing articles for magazines, newspapers, or online media
Reporting experience in beauty, fashion, medicine, travel, hotels, or wellness
Proficiency in English or another foreign language
Understanding of SEO and search-based content
Experience producing photo, video, or social media content
Portfolio holders
What matters more than experience
